Best Buy Baby Event
Does anyone else feel like they haven’t accomplished much this year? I feel like I blinked and my second pregnancy is almost over… No seriously! In 6 weeks we could be welcoming our second baby girl into the world, and I feel like I’ve done nothing to prepare for it.
Now at 33 weeks pregnant, I realized there’s a lot we need to prepare for! I mean, how are we going to balance everyday life with a toddler and newborn demanding every bit of our attention!Thankfully we hung onto a lot of things from our first pregnancy, but with welcoming a second baby, we needed to stock up on things that would make multitasking a breeze. So I set off on a hunt to find the latest gear, that would help ease the stresses of being a new mom of two!
That's when Bestbuy.ca reached out to us, and asked to partner for their Baby Event! More than just a technology business, Bestbuy.ca is the perfect one stop shop for parents looking for the latest, and greatest, gear for their children at an affordable price! They have everything from monitors to car seats, cribs and play yards, making it the perfect place to stock up on the essentials for your first or second baby!
Here are the top three items we picked up to help with our soon transition to parents of two!
Convertible Double Stroller - We spend a lot of time outdoors hiking, travelling, and running errands. It was super important to us to pick the perfect stroller system that we could easily transfer our wild little toddler, and newborn to with ease! We went with the Mountain Buggy Duet! This stroller comes with double seats, and with the purchase of additional clips, it can also be customized to fit a carseat, making the transition from car to stroller a breeze
Dual Monitor - Lets face it - we can’t be everywhere at once, but we can have eyes on everything! I know for a fact that my toddler is not going to stop moving just because it’s her sisters feeding time. Being able to see each room while she’s running around, not only helps ease my mind, it also helps to ensure her safety!
Infant Carrier - Toddlers never stop…. For some reason I thought the toddler stage was easy, but boy was I wrong! My little wildling loves to explore, and I never want to stop her little fire for life, so strapping her baby sister to my chest is the best way to take her along with us! It also frees up my hands, so I can tackle other tasks around the house!
